My partner bought a Mule in 2003 for the Taupo cycle challenge with little knowledge of how usefull it was going to be to us. I soon found it was a good pack for running in, so was acquired by me for the Kaweka challenge mountain run. It has now done 3 Taupo cycle challenges a round Taranaki cycle race, a number of Tour of the Bays & Manawatu plus various other cycyle rides, 4 Kaweka challenges, 1 Tararua mountain race & an adventure race, plus used for training for all of these events. With almost 5 years of use it has performed perfectly, not a zip or buckle out of place. Although a little faded now it is still as tight and functional as the day we bought it. It is now being lined up for the 2008 Kaweka challenge plus a couple of adventure races. Highly recommended.
